Enrichment Program

🌟🌈🌸Ms. Emily's class made some super KAWAII creations! 🌸🌈🌟

Happy Hat Day

🇯🇵🥁Mana Sensei's class made hand-held taikos/tambourines🥁🇯🇵

The students of Makua Alaka'i's class played a game of Kilu, which is an ancient Hawaiian game played only by ali'i. An equal number of boys and girls sat opposite each other and slid coconut shell saucers across the floor, and tried to hit their opponent's shells.

Mrs. Bandini's 4th and 3rd graders battled each other at structure challenges. These challenges helped hone their skills in engineering and architecture.

The 3rd graders tried their hands at weaving this week with Aunty Ursula.

Look closely, as there are Hawaiian flora drawn intricately within the weaves.

Ms. Toyama's 1st graders created Watercolor Salt Art and Georgia O'Keefe's enlarged flowers.
