COVID reminders for a safe return

We hope families are enjoying a safe Fall Break. Here are some reminders to ensure a safe return to campus next week:
  • Each day review the Daily Wellness Check before coming to school. Students exhibiting any of the symptoms listed on the Daily Wellness Check will be isolated from their class and sent home.

  • Unvaccinated students returning from out-of-state travel must follow all applicable state and county rules at the time of the trip AND

  • Obtain a COVID-19 test after return and submit negative test results to the school; OR

  • Quarantine for 10 days after return.

  • At-home COVID-19 tests are not acceptable. Tests must be done with a healthcare provider or at any of the locations listed on the COVID-19 State of Hawaii Portal’s Test Site Finder.

  • Immediately inform the school if the student or anyone in a student’s household is awaiting COVID-19 test results due to possible exposure or has tested positive for COVID-19.

Please send COVID test results to the School Health Aide, Karen Tolentino by email to karen.tolentino@k12.hi.us OR by fax to 595-5405. If you have any questions, please contact the school office at 595-5400. Travel Guidance Flowchart Sept 2021
