808 fundraising extension & Food Drive

The 808 Fundraising deadline has been extended. All orders are due Sunday, April 11th. Please place your orders online at http://www.808fundraising.com and remember to select Maʻemaʻe Elementary School PTSA for your purchases. Top seller will win a $50 Fisher Hawaii gift card! *Pick up will be on Friday 5/14/2021 from 2:00 to 5:30pm, on campus* The Student Council is hosting a Food Drive for the Hawaii Food Bank next week of April 12-16. Many families are still struggling with food insecurity as they try to recover from the pandemic. The Food Bank is requesting that people please consider participating in a "virtual food drive" and donate money (cash or check) instead of actual food items. The Food Bank can take advantage of their discounted buying privileges. For example, a $5 donation will allow them to get the equivalent of a ten pound bag of apples. $10 equals a twenty-five pound bag of potatoes and $15 will equate to thirty pounds of rice! For the class competition, we will also credit the classroom the same poundage listed above for any cash donations. (if writing a check, please make it payable to the "Hawaii Food Bank") Please Consider Donating These Most Needed Items:

  • Canned Proteins (like tuna or chicken)

  • Canned Meals (like stew, spaghetti or chili)

  • Canned Fruits

  • Canned Vegetables

  • Bags of Rice

The deadline for all Food Bank donations is Friday morning (April 16). Thank you for your kind support!
