Maʻemaʻe Halloween Parade - Friday, October 30
Maʻemaʻe Families,
We hope you can join us for our annual Halloween Parade this Friday beginning at 8:30 AM! Please note that the start time may be delayed depending on the weather, but we plan to hold the parade rain or shine!
Parking Information
Parking is available on our Big Field, as well as at Tenrikyo Honolulu Church, and select stalls at Honolulu Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
A friendly reminder to please kokua and respect the surrounding churches that have graciously allowed us to use their parking lots over the years. Please follow the directions of our parking attendants so we can continue to use these facilities for future school events. Mahalo for your cooperation!
Parade Viewing Guidelines
You are welcome to position yourselves along the walkways of the parade route. Please keep the walkways clear and be courteous to those around you.
We know you want to see your child, but please allow students to continue moving with their classes throughout the parade. This helps teachers keep track of all students and ensures everyone can safely enjoy the event.
Costume Guidelines
Please dress appropriately and comfortably.
Students must be able to walk safely in their costumes.
Toy weapons and sharp objects are not allowed.
Post-Parade Assembly
Following the parade, we plan to hold a short assembly to announce our costume contest winners and enjoy performances by our GLEE Club students. Families are welcome to stay and watch! We kindly ask that students remain with their classes during this time.
Please note that post-parade assembly portion will be canceled if weather conditions do not permit us to hold it safely.
Unable to Attend? Watch Our Livestream!
If you’re unable to join us in person, our tech team has set up a livestream so you can still watch the parade!
Mahalo for your cooperation in helping us make this a smooth, safe, and fun event for everyone. We look forward to celebrating Halloween with our Maʻemaʻe ʻohana!
