Great Kindness Challenge

Our Student Council is excited to present Maʻemaʻe School's Great Kindness Challenge Spirit Week, which will take place from January 27th to January 31st!

There will be a themed dress day for every day that week. Please see the attached flyer and encourage your child(ren) to participate! Students will also be given a Kind Acts checklist in class. Please encourage them to complete as many kind acts as possible throughout the week.

The recent wildfires in Los Angeles have caused devastating damage to communities, homes, and wildlife. During the Great Kindness Challenge Week families are encouraged to support organizations affected by these wildfires. After making a donation of any amount, please complete this form and attach a receipt by Friday, February 14th. Your child will receive a sticker and their name will be added to the donation wall.

Here is the link to the LA County Wildfire Relief Portal, with a list of possible organizations to donate to or you can donate to another organization of your choice that supports LA wildfire relief. Should you have any questions, please email kristin.chevalier@k12.hi.us or Kelly.fujimoto@k12.hi.us. Thank you.
