Student Organizations

Students have the opportunity to participate in school-sponsored clubs and activities, run by our faculty and staff. Participation may be limited and varies from club to club.

Student Council

The student council members act as our student leaders on campus. They share ideas and help to plan many school activities and events! They work hard to make Maʻemaʻe an enjoyable place for all students to learn!

Media Club

Our award-winning Media Club students produce video and photo content, covering school events, fun videos, and PSAs. Students are selected through audition in the 4th quarter.

5th Grade Basketball and Volleyball

Our 5th grade basketball and volleyball teams compete against other schools in the area and are coached by faculty members.

Glee

Maʻemaʻe Glee Club is open to students in Grades 3-5. Space is limited, so membership is by audition only. Glee rehearsals are Wednesdays from 12:30-1:30pm. Members are also required to practice on their own and adhere to basic academic and social guidelines in order to participate.

Dolphin Discovery Zone

This new program is launching during the 2023-24 school year and more details will be announced soon. Students will have the opportunity to design, build/create special projects, cook, and learn entrepreneurship through the sale of their products and services.

JPOs

Our dedicated Junior Police Officers work to help keep our campus safe by helping to monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Select students in grades 3-4 are able to participate.

Track Team

The Maʻemaʻe Track Team represents our school in our annual track meet, competing with students from other schools in the Roosevelt Complex. Students are selected through tryouts.
