Letter to Parents 7/31/20
We appreciate your patience as we continue to work on our reopening plan for the new school year.
Per the Board of Education meeting on Thursday, July 30, 2020, the Board has decided the first day of instruction has been moved to Monday, August 17, 2020.
We are looking to have the full Reopening of School Plan available on the school website by Friday, August 7, 2020 and the Open House Video by Monday, August 10, 2020.
In-Person Learning Students:
Student Supply Drop-off: Please plan to drop off your child’s supplies on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. A detailed schedule will be sent at a later date. School will begin on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 7:55 a.m. for all grade levels. Families will not be able to enter campus before 7:15 a.m. unless enrolled in the YMCA Morning Care Program. Please make proper arrangements.
Dismissal times on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays:
2:00 p.m. for students in Kindergarten - Grade 2
2:15 p.m. for students in Grades 3 - 5
Dismissal time on Wednesdays:
12:30 p.m. for students in Kindergarten - Grade 2
12:45 p.m. for students in Grades 3 - 5
Students with siblings will be dismissed at the same time as their oldest sibling.
Student pick-up will be done in an “airport” style manner. Parents/guardians will not be allowed to wait in the driveway or park in stalls on campus. If there is a problem, HPD will be called to address the issue.
Distance Learning Students
Program information and start date will be emailed at a later date. Please plan to pick up school materials and devices (if requested) on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. A detailed schedule will also be sent at a later date.
